Four checks before you buy
Will they use it every week? A gift that gets used replaces something else. A novelty item just adds to the pile.

Is it built to last? Look at the details that wear out first, like seams, cuffs, heels and toes.
Can you back up the claim? If you call a gift sustainable, know why. Ask for the material breakdown, and check what your own company's sustainability team needs to see.

What to know about bamboo socks
Our eco crew socks are 70% viscose made from bamboo, with polyester, nylon and spandex for stretch and shape. The main fiber starts as a plant, but they aren't a zero-impact product. Turning bamboo into viscose is a chemical process, and the FTC says fabrics like this should be labeled as viscose or rayon made from bamboo. If your company has strict sustainability rules, ask what your team needs to see before you order.
Pack it without the waste
Packaging is often what gets thrown away first. Use plain paper boxes and paper fill, skip plastic ribbon, and let a tote or a blanket be the wrapping where you can. Ask your rep what packaging options fit your order.
Shipping counts too. Here's a simple example. Say you're sending gifts to 80 employees: 50 work in one office and 30 work from home. Ship the 50 to the office in one go and only the 30 to homes. That's 31 shipments instead of 80. For the remote group, we can pack and ship each gift from a list of addresses.
Order dates for 2026
For gifts in hand by December 18, approve custom sock designs by November 20. Most of our other products also take 2 to 3 weeks once you approve the design. When the greener choice is a smaller order
The greenest gift is the one you don't order for no reason. If the plan is to spend leftover budget on swag nobody asked for, skip it. Give fewer, better gifts to the people who'll use them, or make a donation to an environmental group in your team's name and send a card that says so.
